"EXW Deliveries" for Linde Gas Germany and affiliated companies:
In order to optimise its procurement logistics, Linde AG, Linde Gas Division, Germany has commissioned logistics service provider Kühne + Nagel with all national and international haulage and freight forwarding services for general cargo and freight as of March 2010.
This ruling affects the following companies

The ruling applies to all "EXW Deliveries" with a gross weight of more than 31.5 kg. Shipments for which “carriage paid delivery” has been agreed shall initially remain exempt from the ruling.
This means that, with immediate effect, all "EXW deliveries" ordered by Linde with a gross weight of over 31.5 kg must be shipped exclusively via Kühne + Nagel.
Please use the corresponding notification form to ensure your shipments are submitted correctly. Please use the invoice address on the current purchase order for billing.

Please note that as of March 2010, we will no longer be able to accept any additional costs incurred as a result of non-compliance with these shipping instructions, in particular:
- Commissioning a different logistics service provider
- Costs incurred as a result of an incorrect shipment notification or incorrect shipping documents.

Transportation:
To ensure a smooth process, please note the following points:
1. Shipment notification
For notifications, please download the relevant notification form from the website and send it completed to Kühne + Nagel by e-mail or fax no later than 24 hours before the shipment date. The respective contact addresses are specified on the standard forms.
2. Europallets
Please make sure that deliveries are not sent on europallets, as it is not possible to change pallets. If you do use europallets, however, these will become the property of Linde AG on delivery. For this reason, please use non-returnable pallets.
3. Shipment handover
On the handover day, the shipment must be ready for collection by 10 a.m. at the latest, otherwise please inform Kühne + Nagel of the exact time the goods may be collected on the notification. Linde shall not be liable for costs incurred as a result of delays on the part of the supplier; instead these will be charged to the respective supplier.
4. Express deliveries
If express deliveries are required, written approval must be granted first by: inbound-logistics@de.linde-gas.com.
